The investment round was co-led by Sofinnova Partners and Redmile Group to fund global expansion and research programmes.

Sphere Fluidics develops and commercialises single cell analysis systems powered by proprietary picodroplet technology. The company supports global biotherapeutic discovery and development through its automated platforms.

Sphere Fluidics has secured £30m in Series B funding from Sofinnova Partners and Redmile Group. The capital will support the company as it expands international sales operations and customer service capabilities. Additional funds are earmarked for research and development initiatives, including new applications for the Cyto-Mine platform.
