Spectral Edge raises $4.5m in a $5.3m funding round co-led by IQ Capital and Parkwalk Advisors.
The investment will provide working capital to support the continued scale up of the company.
Spectral Edge develops image fusion and colour perception technologies to improve visual content on electronic devices. The Cambridge business originated as a spin-out from the University of East Anglia.
Cambridge-based image technology company Spectral Edge has secured $4.5m in funding as part of a larger $5.3m round. The investment was co-led by returning backers IQ Capital and Parkwalk Advisors, with participation from several business angels.
The capital will provide working capital to support the ongoing commercial growth and scale up of the business. Both institutional backers participated in previous funding rounds for the company over 18 months prior.
Mills & Reeve acted as legal advisers on the transaction, representing the investors.
