Edinburgh-based Space Intelligence has secured a Series A investment to scale its global forest mapping capabilities. The round was led by AzurX Space Ventures, with participation from Intercontinental Exchange. The newly secured capital will enable the firm to broaden its forest data catalogue across international markets and support corporate supply chain monitoring.
Founded by academics with extensive experience in remote sensing, Space Intelligence supplies audit-grade datasets used by major carbon project developers and investors. The company currently covers hundreds of millions of hectares and intends to increase its geographic reach significantly over the coming quarters.
