Salica Investments provided the loan to accelerate product innovation and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Solidatus provides data lineage software that helps regulated enterprises map data flows, ensure compliance, and manage information governance.
Solidatus has secured a £5m loan from Salica Investments to accelerate its research and product development initiatives. The fresh capital will be directed towards advancing the platform's AI capabilities, including natural language processing and automated lineage generation with human verification.
The company previously raised funding through a Series A round in 2021 led by AlbionVC alongside HSBC and Citibank, bringing its total funding to £25m. Solidatus serves major financial and corporate institutions such as Deutsche Bank and HSBC, helping them navigate complex regulatory frameworks.
Salica Investments participated through its Growth Debt Fund, backing the firm as it scales operations and addresses enterprise compliance challenges.
From the founder
"Our focus on advancing the platform's AI capabilities will further enhance our customers' ability to manage complexity, ensure compliance, and unlock the value of trusted data at scale. Without lineage, even the most advanced models risk instability and regulatory cracks will start to show, with major consequences to businesses across all sectors,"
