Sokin provides a global payments platform that unifies accounts payable, receivable, and treasury operations for businesses worldwide.
UK fintech Sokin has secured $50m in Series B funding to accelerate its international expansion and product development. The investment round was led by Prysm Capital, with additional participation from Watershed Ventures, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, Aurum Partners, and former PayPal executives Gary Marino and Mark Britto. The fresh capital brings the company valuation to $300m following significant year-on-year revenue growth.
Sokin plans to direct the proceeds towards securing regional licenses and growing its banking partnerships across Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Furthermore, the company will enhance its embedded finance offerings and scale its cross-border accounts payable and receivable capabilities for fast-scaling enterprises.
