Social Value Portal raises £8.5m in Series B funding led by Mercia to expand into the private sector
The funding round was led by Mercia with backing from Beringea to support private sector expansion and new academy launches.
Social Value Portal provides an online platform that enables organisations to measure, manage and report their social impact and non-financial value. The company supports thousands of users across both public and private sectors in the UK.
Social Value Portal has secured £8.5m in Series B funding to accelerate its growth across the private sector and launch a new educational academy. The round was led by Mercia, with participation from returning backer Beringea.
Founded in 2014, the London-based company offers tools for organisations to quantify the social and environmental good they deliver. Its platform is currently utilised by more than 16,000 users, spanning public sector bodies and global corporations.
The fresh capital will support the firm as it responds to rising demand for non-financial impact reporting driven by stricter regulatory oversight. Social Value Portal remains on track to help organisations deliver £100bn of social value by the end of 2026.
