Atlassian Ventures and Salesforce Ventures backed the follow-on financing to accelerate developer security adoption.
Snyk provides a developer security platform that helps enterprises find and fix software vulnerabilities. The firm operates globally to integrate security into the development process.
Snyk has secured £55.7m in a Series F follow-on investment from Atlassian Ventures and Salesforce Ventures. The fresh capital builds on the company's recent Series F raise announced earlier in the month, pushing its total valuation to £8.6bn and overall funding to £850m. The partnership will see Snyk expand product integrations with Atlassian platforms to help millions of developers address code vulnerabilities within their daily workflows.
Atlassian and Salesforce have committed long-term support to modernise legacy security practices through developer-led approaches. Snyk will use the backing to deepen ecosystem integrations across tools such as Bitbucket Cloud, Jira Software and Compass, creating high-velocity experiences for engineering teams globally.
