Snaffling Pig has secured over £1.1m in a crowdfunded investment round featuring contributions from members of Henley Business Angels via Crowdcube. The business attracted backing from nearly 1,900 investors in total.
Established by Nick Coleman and Udhi Silva, the company generated more than £3m in sales during the previous financial year. The capital will support the introduction of its branded gammon steak range in Sainsbury stores and fund a dedicated field and sales team to expand its presence in pubs, wholesale, and gifting markets.
The financing underpins the company strategy to scale operations and accelerate its growth trajectory over the coming years.

Having 1,900 members in our swine dining club will enable us to catapult our three year plan to take the business to over £20m turnover building on more new lines in the supermarkets and in the trade.
