Small Robot Company raises £1.2m on Crowdcube to advance farming robotics

Small Robot Company has secured £1.2m through a Crowdcube equity crowdfunding campaign to develop its sustainable farming technology. The initial funding target of £500k was reached within minutes, driven largely by backing from the farming community. The capital will support the refinement of its autonomous farmbots and artificial intelligence systems.

The latest raise brings the company's total funding to £2.5m. Previous backers include Innovate UK, Indiegogo, and the Institute of Engineering and Technology, alongside support from individual investors such as Google AI principal designer Matt Jones and Rough Guides founder Mark Ellingham.
