Innovate UK has backed the medical device firm to advance clinical trials and research.
SleepCogni is a medical technology company based in Sheffield that develops digital solutions for insomnia care. The firm combines clinical insights with advanced monitoring to improve patient outcomes.
SleepCogni has secured £463k in grant funding from Innovate UK to advance its research and development into insomnia treatments. The capital will support a clinical trial involving 150 subjects over 1,490 research nights, following previous investment from Mercia Fund Management.
The company is developing a bedside medical device that combines cognitive behavioural therapy and dynamic biofeedback to help users manage and resolve sleep problems. The fresh capital enables the organisation to expand its team and relocate to the Kroto Innovation and Research Centre at the University of Sheffield.
