Sheffield based medical technology firm SleepCogni has secured £300k in a bridging round to extend its operational runway ahead of a larger funding raise planned for 2025. The capital will support regulatory approvals and commercial expansion into the global sleep technology market, drawing on backing from existing investors and grants.

The company has also strengthened its leadership team alongside the raise. Long-term backer Mark Milton-Edwards has invested in the round and joined the firm as a non-executive director, while Joseph Hawkins has been promoted to chief operating officer.
