Adjuvo led the latest round, which takes the company total to £12.8m and prepares the firm for its first product deliveries.
Skarper develops a portable drive system that converts standard bicycles into high performance e-bikes through a patented disk brake rotor attachment. The company operates from London and has secured backing from sporting figures including Sir Chris Hoy.
London-based cycling technology start-up Skarper has secured £4.5m in new funding led by Adjuvo alongside angel investors and its member network. Existing backers, including Starry Group, Mobilitech Capital, and Yaron Kottler, also participated in the round, taking the company's total raised to £12.8m. The capital will be deployed to support commercial rollout plans as the firm prepares to ship its initial units in the UK before expanding across Europe.
