Simudyne raises £4.6m in Series A funding led by Barclays to accelerate sector expansion.

The London-based simulation technology firm secured backing from Barclays, Graphene Ventures, and Gauss Ventures to drive talent acquisition and product growth.

Simudyne provides simulation technology that enables large institutions to run agent-based models and scenario testing. The firm has expanded its client base across global banking through advanced risk management tools.

Simudyne has closed a Series A funding round of £4.6m, led by Barclays with participation from Graphene Ventures and Gauss Ventures. The fresh capital will be directed towards talent acquisition and deepening engagement within the financial services sector, alongside expanding software applications into new areas like anti-money laundering.

The raise follows a period of rapid commercial growth for the London-based simulation technology company, which saw revenues multiply sixfold over the course of 2018. Simudyne currently employs a team of 30 people and has raised a cumulative total of $10m since inception.
