Signifier Medical Technologies is a medical technology company that develops patient-friendly therapies for sleep-disordered breathing. Founded in 2015, the firm provides non-invasive solutions to address the root causes of conditions such as obstructive sleep apnoea and primary snoring.

Signifier Medical Technologies has secured $35m in a Series D funding round to scale the commercial reach of its daytime sleep therapy device. The financing was co-led by Segulah Medical Acceleration, Angelus Venture Fund I, Alan Howard, and Pioneer Healthcare Partners.

The capital will support the wider rollout of the eXciteOSA therapy in key markets, alongside ongoing work to build out digital interfaces and gather further clinical evidence. The company aims to address a growing demand for alternatives to continuous positive airway pressure devices among patients with mild obstructive sleep apnoea.
