Sharesy operates a venue hire platform that connects customers with underutilised community spaces such as schools and places of worship.

Sharesy has secured £950k in funding from members of Henley Business Angels, with the round later extended to £1.5m to accommodate additional demand. The company provides a booking platform that streamlines the process of hiring community spaces like schools and places of worship, while helping venues generate supplementary revenue.

Operating initially in North London, the company intends to direct the new capital towards expanding its team and enhancing its digital platform. Sharesy estimates a significant untapped market for community venue hire across the United Kingdom.

Investor perspective

"Sharesy attracted a lot of interest from HBA because it addresses the opportunity of underutilised spaces and simultaneously affords scope for rapid and significant growth, replicating the success the company has achieved in North London. We see Sharesy being the default go to platform for booking community spaces."
