Sertec has secured a £20m funding package from BGF and Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking to back the management team in accelerating its ongoing expansion strategy. The company operates five sites in Birmingham and supplies millions of metal components weekly to clients including Jaguar Land Rover.
Over the past eight years, the business has grown significantly, with annual sales increasing from £40m in 2008 to nearly £200m. The latest capital injection will support further growth alongside recent heavy investments in new robotics, presses, and facility upgrades, including a new press shop at its Coleshill headquarters.
