Selina Finance secures £42m Series A funding from Picus Capital and Global Founders Capital to expand lending operations.

The Series A round was led by Picus Capital and Global Founders Capital to accelerate technology investment and new market expansion.
Selina Finance is a digital lender providing home equity lines of credit designed to help UK homeowners unlock property wealth. The platform uses automated technology to streamline borrowing and consumer lending.
Digital lender Selina Finance has completed a £42m Series A round, comprising £12m in equity and £30m in debt. The financing was led by Picus Capital and Global Founders Capital, alongside other fintech investors. The capital will support the company as it prepares to launch a consumer lending product later in the year, expand its lending capacity for small businesses, and invest further in its automated technology platform.
The London-based business offers overdraft-style credit facilities of up to £1m, allowing property owners to borrow against accumulated home equity without facing setup or valuation fees. Operating entirely online, the company utilises proprietary technology to streamline the underwriting process and deliver funds within five days. Despite economic disruption caused by the pandemic, the firm has continued remote operations and active recruitment.
Co-founders Andrea Olivari, Hubert Fenwick, and Leonard Benning established the business in 2019. The latest investment underscores investor confidence in the firm's automated lending model, which has maintained a clean credit record with zero defaults since inception.
