London-based Sedna provides a data-driven communication platform designed to streamline maritime logistics and global supply chain operations.
Sedna has secured $10m in debt financing from CIBC Innovation Banking to support its continued expansion. The London-based company plans to allocate the capital towards enhancing its artificial intelligence capabilities and widening its network of software integrations.
Founded in 2017, the firm builds communication tools designed to cut through the heavy volume of email traffic that characterises maritime logistics. Its platform extracts actionable data from unstructured messages to improve operational efficiency for vessel operators, brokers, and port agents.
The latest financing follows a period of commercial growth for Sedna, which includes the acquisition of Nordic IT last year. Executives note that the fresh capital will allow the company to accelerate its technological development and strengthen its position in the sector.
