Scotmas Group secures £2.2m from Maven Capital Partners and Scottish Enterprise to fund international expansion.

The investment round was led by Maven Capital Partners through the Investment Fund for Scotland alongside Scottish Enterprise.

Scotmas Group is a specialist water treatment technologies business that provides chlorine dioxide systems for disinfection and pathogen control. Based in Kelso, the B-Corp accredited company treats over two billion litres of water daily across international markets.

Scotmas Group has raised £2.2m in equity funding led by Maven Capital Partners via the Investment Fund for Scotland, alongside participation from Scottish Enterprise. The capital will be deployed to accelerate international expansion, increase manufacturing capacity at the Kelso facility, fund product development, and expand commercial and technical teams.

The business develops chlorine dioxide solutions used to control bacteria in water and food contact surfaces across multiple sectors. With this injection of capital, the firm intends to establish direct in-country sales and servicing capabilities in South America and the Middle East while creating up to 40 new jobs over the next three years.
