Schwarzthal Tech provides an artificial intelligence driven platform that builds individual networks from public data to help financial institutions investigate economic crime.
Financial crime intelligence startup Schwarzthal Tech has secured £150k in pre-seed funding from SFC Capital. The London-based company uses artificial intelligence to aggregate public data and map relational networks to assist investigators in identifying economic crime.
The capital will support the company as it develops its know your network platform, which is designed to replace traditional compliance checks with multidimensional risk assessments. SFC Capital participated as the sole named investor in the round.
Marius-Cristian Frunza and George Emelyanov founded the business to bridge the gap between static bank compliance procedures and the dynamic methods employed by modern financial criminals.
