RoxFit secures £800k pre-seed funding from DSW Ventures to advance its hybrid fitness platform

York-based hybrid fitness platform RoxFit has secured £800k in pre-seed funding led by DSW Ventures. The round drew participation from regional angel group York Angels alongside individual angels across Europe and the United States.
The capital will be directed towards accelerating technical product development, refining user experience, and expanding partnerships within the hybrid fitness ecosystem. Since launching in 2024, the platform has surpassed 100k downloads, offering features such as race result analysis and smartwatch pacing integration.
The founders, Ben Wilson and Joey Allott, established the platform to serve the growing demand within competitive hybrid racing communities. Backing from the investor group provides resources for the team to scale its operations and extend market reach.
