The workforce management software provider has raised £6m to drive international expansion.
Rotageek develops cloud-based workforce scheduling software that helps multi-site businesses manage staff, forecast demand and optimise rotas. The company serves clients across the retail, hospitality and healthcare sectors.
Rotageek has secured £6m in Series B funding to fuel its expansion into the global workforce management market. The investment round was led by Calculus Capital and Mobeus, alongside contributions from angel investors. The company provides cloud-based staff scheduling tools driven by machine learning, and its software is currently being offered free of charge to the NHS during the pandemic.
The fresh capital will support the company as it targets broader international growth. Rotageek already works with prominent British retail brands such as Pret a Manger and Pets at Home, positioning itself for operational efficiency gains as lockdown measures ease.
From the founder
"It’s our mission to create a step-change in scheduling to improve not only how businesses and organisations run their operations, but to also positively and significantly impact the lives of shift-based employees. As a [former] doctor, I am particularly passionate about taking those benefits to the healthcare sector. We are excited about this new funding round, are pleased to welcome Calculus and to receive continued support from Mobeus."

Investor perspective
"Workforce management is crying out for innovation, as existing manual processes and legacy solutions are unable to effectively meet the demands of a modern-day enterprise workforce RotaGeek’s technologically advanced proposition is proven to solve this issue and effectively competes against much larger players. I’m delighted to continue to support this strong and capable management team from Series A to Series B."
