Mercia Ventures led the Series A round to support product development and industry partnerships.
Risk Ledger operates a collaborative platform for supply chain security and risk management. The company builds a networked ecosystem that allows organisations to map supplier interdependencies and defend against cyber threats.
Cyber security business Risk Ledger has secured £6.3m in a Series A funding round led by Mercia Ventures. The capital will be directed towards product development and deepening industry partnerships to help clients combat supply chain attacks.
The raise follows participation from several backers including Seedcamp, Firstminute Capital, Episode 1, Village Global, and Lifeline Ventures. Mercia Ventures invested from its Northern Venture Capital Trust funds.
The London-based company has experienced rapid adoption since launching its platform, which offers a social network approach to supply chain risk management. It currently serves over 5,000 organisations across the public sector and financial services.

Investor perspective
"Third-party risk is a major security concern for companies as it’s a factor over which they traditionally have little control. Risk Ledger offers an exciting new approach to third-party risk management. Haydn and Daniel have made remarkable progress in developing the business to date and have a very clear view of the way forward. We are delighted to support their ambitious growth plans."
