Revolut operates a global financial platform offering banking, trading and payment services to millions of customers worldwide. Headquartered in London, the company provides alternatives to traditional banking through its mobile application.
Revolut has secured £600m in a Series E funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Tiger Global Management. The capital will support the company as it scales its international presence and accelerates product development for its financial superapp. The transaction values the business at £33bn and follows rapid user growth across its personal and business accounts.
SoftBank and Tiger Global join the firm as new backers in this latest financing. The proceeds are earmarked for further expansion in the United States and new markets such as India, alongside ongoing feature innovation for everyday banking and wealth services. The round establishes the firm as a prominent player in the global financial technology sector.
