London based technology firm Recruitment Smart has secured grant funding from Innovate UK for its Talent Support Platform. The award recognises projects that support the economy during the pandemic by matching talent with open roles and helping workers find new employment. The initiative aims to place at least 100,000 candidates into suitable roles annually. The financing forms part of Innovate UK's Sustainable Innovation Fund, which backs research and development projects designed to help UK sectors rebuild following the effects of COVID 19.
