Accel led the Series B round to support platform development and go-to-market expansion.
Recraft builds an artificial intelligence native design platform that provides image generation with brand consistency for creative teams. The company supports designers, marketers, and product teams at organisations like Amazon and Uber.
Recraft has secured £22.4m in Series B funding led by Accel, with participation from Madrona Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman, Elad Gil, and RTP Global. The capital coincides with the release of Advanced Style Creation and Controls, providing creative teams with extended capabilities to develop and scale unique brand styles.
The company has experienced rapid expansion, growing its user base past 4 million with a tenfold increase over two years. Its proprietary model, Recraft V3, delivers precise control over image generation, allowing enterprises to replace stock imagery and maintain visual standards at scale.
The fresh funding will be deployed to refine the underlying model, scale go-to-market operations, and build new offerings that enhance visual identity controls for global brands.
From the founder
"GenAI has pushed the boundaries of what’s possible with design, but for creative professionals working at the break-neck speed of today, velocity means little without quality and control. Recraft was built with one core idea: AI should amplify creativity, not compromise it. With this funding, we’re doubling down on our commitment to creative teams, providing the tools they need to stay on-brand and scale quickly."
Anna Dorogush
CEO and founder at Recraft
Investor perspective
"Anna and the Recraft team are closing the gap between creativity and consistency for design professionals that need to move fast, design at scale, and can’t afford to compromise on control"
