Real World Health has secured £1.4m in a Series A follow-on funding round led by Maven Capital Partners, with participation from Dowgate Capital. The company plans to use the capital to drive the commercialisation and expansion of its data analytics solutions across the health service. The investment arrives as the NHS grapples with significant elective surgery backlogs and resource constraints across mental health services.
Operating since 2014, the firm builds bespoke data platforms that assist healthcare providers with operational efficiency, theatre optimisation, and resource allocation. Its software has previously yielded considerable cost savings and productivity gains for various trusts. Management intends to use the fresh injection of capital to scale these operations and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives within the healthcare sector.
