Quirk Money provides a financial platform designed for younger generations through personality tests and gamified features. Headquartered in London, the smartphone application helps users track and grow their money.

Quirk Money has secured £300k in pre-seed funding from SFC Capital and angel investors. The company will direct the capital towards team expansion, product development, and its broader mission of building financial freedom.

The London based fintech builds financial guidance around psychological personality traits to help young professionals navigate their personal finances. More than 10,000 people have taken its money personality test since launch, with a public app store release scheduled for March 2021.

From the founder

"There is no 'one size fits all' answer when it comes to managing your finances. What should I do with my savings? What’s the difference between good debt and bad? A lot of young people we talked to felt there was a lot of information out there but it lacked context on their financial situation and advice on what tangible actions they should take."
