Q-Bot secures £1.6m in a Series A funding round led by EMV Capital to accelerate its international growth and insulation rollout.

Q-Bot develops robotics and automated solutions for the built environment, specialising in underfloor insulation. The firm operates a robot-as-a-service model supported by a network of installation partners.

Q-Bot has secured £1.6m in a Series A funding round led by EMV Capital, with participation from parent company NetScientific and existing investors. The fresh capital will enable the firm to accelerate the rollout of its underfloor insulation technology across the UK and address rising international demand.

Founded to improve the energy efficiency of existing properties with minimal disruption, Q-Bot deploys specialised robots to insulate suspended floors. The latest financing arrives as households face surging heating costs, positioning the firm's technology as a timely intervention for carbon reduction and fuel poverty.

The company operates a robotics-as-a-service model through a growing network of accredited installation partners. Having insulated over 3,000 properties to date, Q-Bot intends to scale its manufacturing operations and expand its international footprint, including recent deployment efforts in France.
