Push Security raises £12m in Series A funding led by GV

Push Security

GV led the Series A round with backing from Decibel and high-profile angel investors.

£12.0MSeries A

Push Security simplifies SaaS security for modern IT and cybersecurity teams by monitoring employee activity and guiding users to resolve risks. The company helps businesses uncover employee-owned software and remediate vulnerabilities.

Push Security has secured £12m in Series A funding to support its ongoing development. GV led the round, with participation from Decibel and notable angels including Dug Song and Rich Waldron.

The capital arrives as the company experiences strong demand for its browser-based SaaS security platform, which helps businesses maintain visibility over employee-adopted cloud software. Push has grown rapidly since its launch, adding hundreds of applications and seeing significant revenue growth in early 2023.

The fresh funds will allow the London-based business to scale its operations and build upon its recent feature launches, which include automated discovery tools and real-time alerts for security teams.

From the founder

"An explosion in SaaS adoption, coupled with a big push to self-service platforms driven by product-led growth (PLG), means employees increasingly sign up and buy SaaS directly without going through the security team first. This creates an unwieldy sprawl of SaaS applications being introduced to the business with no corporate oversight. Security teams have to play catch-up to ensure these apps aren’t exposing their businesses to undue security risks or invalidating their security compliance."
