The fresh capital will be deployed to expand its footprint in the United States and scale its specialized research groups.
Founded in London in 2014, Prolific addresses the shortcomings of traditional participant recruitment tools by automating the vetting and payment processes for researchers. Its client base spans academic institutions such as the University of Oxford and technology companies including Google. The business currently provides access to more than 120,000 active participants.
