£64.9MSeries C

Privitar provides a leading data privacy platform that helps organisations protect sensitive information and meet regulatory standards. The company works with major financial institutions and healthcare providers to manage data securely at scale.

London based data privacy provider Privitar has secured £64.9m in a Series C funding round led by Warburg Pincus. The financing also included participation from Accel, Partech, IQ Capital, Salesforce Ventures, and ABN AMRO Ventures.

The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, drive international expansion, and increase headcount across sales, services, and other core departments. This follows a strong prior year marked by significant revenue growth and global office openings.

The company's platform automates data protection strategies, allowing large enterprises in regulated sectors to utilise data safely while complying with evolving privacy regulations.

From the founder

"Large enterprises in regulated industries like financial services and healthcare have been early adopters of data privacy solutions, but all companies should look for ways to use data more safely and more effectively. Managing sensitive data at enterprise scale and complexity is a real challenge for even the most sophisticated data organizations. By automating the enforcement of data protection strategies, Privitar’s platform makes this achievable in any data-driven organization. We are excited to partner with Warburg Pincus as we continue to pioneer the category."
