PreActiv provides a digital prehabilitation platform designed to optimise patients for surgery through individualised programs. The technology improves cardiovascular fitness and strength while delivering nutritional, lifestyle, and psychological support.
PreActiv has raised over £500k in a pre-seed funding round led by Exceptional Ventures. The capital will support the company as it scales its digital prehabilitation platform, which prepares patients for surgery and helps healthcare providers reduce complications and bed days. Additional backing for the round came from Bethnal Green Ventures, Angel Academe, and a group of experienced angel investors.
The funding arrives as NHS trusts face mandates to incorporate prehabilitation into care protocols. PreActiv harnesses technology to deliver cost-effective, scalable programmes that meet these guidelines while alleviating financial pressure on health services. Alongside the investment closing, the company is completing clinical trials in collaboration with Bath University and Royal United Hospitals Bath.
