PPRO secures £132m Series D funding from Eurazeo Growth, Sprints Capital, and Wellington Management to scale its payments infrastructure

PPRO provides local payments infrastructure and value-added services to help payment companies manage global transactions. The company is regulated in the UK by the FCA and in Luxembourg by the CSSF.
PPRO has secured a £132m Series D investment led by Eurazeo Growth, Sprints Capital, and Wellington Management, lifting its valuation past the $1bn mark. The capital injection follows a period of rapid expansion that included doubling transaction volumes in the final quarter of 2020 and growing headcount significantly.
The freshly secured funds will be directed toward accelerating international expansion and advancing border-free payment technology. This announcement comes only six months after the company closed a $50m round, demonstrating sustained investor backing for its payments infrastructure model.
Major financial institutions and payment gateways rely on PPRO to handle complex cross-border transactions and local consumer preferences. The company plans to use the resources to maintain its technological edge and support continued scale.
