£3.4M

Podfather provides a cloud-based logistics software solution designed to streamline fleet operations for clients across multiple sectors. The firm operates from Edinburgh and serves a diverse blue-chip client base.

Podfather has secured £3.4m in investment from Maven Capital Partners to accelerate its growth and rollout new enterprise software. The transaction includes funding from Maven Investor Partners and IFS Maven Equity Finance through the Investment Fund for Scotland, managed by Maven and delivered by the British Business Bank.

The fresh capital will be directed towards international expansion and supporting the launch of the company's latest enterprise logistics product. Operating for two and a half decades, the firm provides integrated route planning, tracking and compliance tools for sectors including transport, construction and healthcare.

Maven Partner David Milroy highlighted the company's established profitability and position in the market. Managing Director Colin McCreadie noted that the backing arrives at a crucial juncture for scaling operations and bringing new technology to market.
