Pillar is a London-based financial technology company developing a global credit platform designed to help immigrants access financial services and products across borders.
London-based financial technology startup Pillar has secured £13m in pre-seed funding to develop its cross-border credit platform. The round was co-led by Global Founders Capital and Backed VC, alongside participation from several high-profile angel investors and former executives from Revolut.
The capital will be directed towards building the platform and establishing the operational infrastructure required for international expansion. Pillar aims to eliminate credit data borders and enable immigrants to transfer their credit profiles when relocating between countries.
From the founder
"As a result a data disparity exists that means people have to start again every time they move to another country. Our intention is to look at consumers based on their credit footprint globally, not on a country by country basis."
