PhysicsX raises $20m from Nvidia to advance simulation tools for manufacturing.
Nvidia backed the round and retained rights to contribute a further $80m in future capital.
London based artificial intelligence startup that builds software to accelerate engineering simulations.
PhysicsX has secured £20m in funding from Nvidia to scale its simulation technology for complex manufacturing sectors. The investment follows a previous Series B round closed earlier this year and includes an option for Nvidia to contribute an additional £80m in a future financing round.
Founded by former Formula 1 engineers, the company uses advanced computational models to simulate material performance and component reliability. This approach helps manufacturers in aerospace, defence, and energy reduce their reliance on physical prototyping and shorten development cycles.
The fresh capital supports the company as it expands its footprint across heavy industries, building on existing customer relationships with firms such as Rio Tinto and Siemens.
