Papier secures £36.9m Series C funding led by Singular to drive US expansion
The Series C financing round was led by Singular with participation from dmg ventures, Lansdowne Partners, Kathaka, Felix Capital, and Beringea.
Papier is a direct-to-consumer online stationery brand that creates personalised notebooks, diaries, and notecards through sustainable on-demand production. The company collaborates with independent artists and cultural institutions to curate unique designs for a global customer base.
London-based stationery brand Papier has secured £36.9m in Series C funding to accelerate its international expansion and broaden its product range. The financing round was led by Paris firm Singular, with participation from dmg ventures, Lansdowne Partners, Kathaka, and existing backers Felix Capital and Beringea. The proceeds will be directed primarily towards scaling the company footprint in the US market, which constitutes a growing share of total revenue.
Founded in 2015, the firm has experienced significant demand driven by a consumer shift toward analogue writing practices and remote working trends. Alongside the capital injection, Papier is opening its first physical office in New York and intends to expand its team and local printing capabilities. The transaction brings the total external investment raised by the company to date to £36.9m.

Investor perspective
"Taymoor and the Papier team have completely reinvented stationery for today’s consumer. They’ve taken the traditional charm, sophistication, and personalised touch of the offline paper world, and merged it with a seamless, tech-driven consumer experience and production process. I’ve been so impressed with the team’s vision, ambition, and consumer-first values. We at Singular are thrilled to partner with Papier on taking this world-class brand to even greater heights."
