Pactio provides digital infrastructure and software designed to streamline private equity investment workflows.
Pactio has secured $14m in Series A funding to expand its digital infrastructure platform and grow its team. The investment round was led by EQT Ventures, with participation from angel investors including Matt Henderson and Tom Greenwood. The company aims to replace manual processes and fragmented tools in private equity with an integrated, secure system.
Founded in 2021 by Eric Heimark and Lorenzo Foglianti, Pactio has already supported $10.7bn in transactions over the past year. The platform centralises data and workflows from deal creation to exit, mitigating security vulnerabilities associated with legacy methods.
The fresh capital will enable the firm to scale its operations and build out its engineering and private equity expertise. Investors noted that the founders' direct industry experience provides them with a clear advantage in addressing long-standing inefficiencies in the sector.
From the founder
"This is especially true when closing deals, as legacy tools and e-mails are error-prone and vulnerable to cyberattacks."

Investor perspective
"The private capital sector is growing rapidly but the tech to support it remains stuck in the past – it’s one of the last frontiers when it comes to disrupting finance, so the market opportunity for Pactio is vast."
