Oxford Quantum Circuits has secured approximately £869k in a second funding round, with participation from Quantum Exponential Group and HiJoJo Partners. The capital will be directed towards research and development, alongside supporting the firm's expansion into the Asia Pacific region with a particular focus on Japan.
The raise follows a substantial £38m Series A fundraise secured by the company last year, which stands as the largest Series A in the UK quantum computing sector to date. Oxford Quantum Circuits continues to scale its proprietary Coaxmon technology, offering its systems through cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services.
