Oxbotica has closed a $47m Series B financing round headed by bp ventures, welcoming a broad international syndicate of backers. The fresh capital will drive the commercial rollout of its universal autonomy platform across various industrial sectors globally.

The raise brings together strategic and financial participants from the UK, US, Australia, and China. Existing backer IP Group also contributed to the syndicate alongside new entrants supporting the firm's growth strategy.

The enterprise focuses on deploying its technology in industrial settings before expanding into urban passenger transport applications. GP Bullhound acted as financial advisor to the company on the transaction.
