Ori secures strategic investment from Wa'ed Ventures to expand into the Middle East.
The British artificial intelligence cloud provider has received backing from Saudi Aramco's venture capital arm to establish a regional subsidiary in Riyadh.
Ori is a British cloud infrastructure provider enabling enterprises and scaleups to train, infer, and deploy large-scale artificial intelligence models. Operating across more than twenty global locations, the firm recently became an early adopter of Nvidia H200 chips in the UK.
Ori has secured a strategic investment from Wa'ed Ventures to support its expansion into the Middle East market. The capital will facilitate the creation of a new regional subsidiary in Riyadh, aiding local technology innovation and aligning with the Vision 2030 initiative.
Wa'ed Ventures joins existing backers including Telefónica, Episode 1 Ventures, and 6DC in supporting the British artificial intelligence infrastructure provider. This transaction precedes a larger funding round expected to close later in the year.
