Orbital Internet Group operates as an independent internet services provider delivering wireless and fibre connectivity for residential and business customers. The company focuses particularly on regional infrastructure across Kent and specialized broadband services for holiday parks.
Orbital Internet Group has secured a growth private equity investment from Mobeus to expand its broadband infrastructure operations. The funding will accelerate the rollout of ultrafast fibre connectivity in rural regions of Kent, support expansion within the UK holiday park sector, and advance proprietary business technology services.
The investment arrives as demand for high-bandwidth capacity accelerates due to remote working and lifestyle shifts. Orbital plans to deploy network infrastructure to underserved rural areas and local business parks, building upon its established telecommunications footprint in the south east of England.
Mobeus led the transaction through its investment management team, with Guy Blackburn joining the company board to support future strategic execution. The financing enables the independent provider to scale its operations while addressing regional digital disparities.
