Opus Safety secures funding from BGF and OakNorth to scale operations

Opus Safety is a tech-enabled compliance provider offering health and safety, HR and occupational health services alongside proprietary software. The business supports small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK.
Birmingham-based Opus Safety has secured minority investment from BGF and OakNorth to accelerate its ongoing expansion. The business provides health and safety, HR and occupational health services to small and medium-sized enterprises, supported by its proprietary Opus Compliance Cloud software.
Since its launch, the company has completed four acquisitions and plans to continue scaling through both organic growth and further M&A activity. The injection of capital from BGF and OakNorth will be directed towards funding future acquisitions and driving product innovation.
The transaction was coordinated with support from Evolve Corporate Finance, bringing together Midlands-based advisers and funders to back the growing firm.
