OneDome raises £5m in Series A funding to launch its e-Homebuying platform.
The funding round was backed by prominent family offices and angel investors including Lord Jacob Rothschild and Reuben Brothers Capital.
OneDome operates a UK-based housing and fintech platform that combines property search, mortgage origination, and legal services into a single digital experience. The platform works with a network of over 500 mortgage brokers and arranges about $1.4bn in monthly mortgage lending.
Property technology company OneDome has secured £5m in a Series A funding round to launch its new e-Homebuying platform in the UK. The financing was backed by prominent family offices and angel investors, including Lord Jacob Rothschild and family, Joshua Alliance, and Reuben Brothers Capital.
The company seeks to address inefficiencies in the homebuying market by connecting buyers, sellers, agents, brokers, and conveyancers through a single customer centric platform. The fresh capital will support the ongoing expansion of its digital services, following its acquisition of Nethouseprices.com and a period of increased customer engagement during the pandemic.
From the founder
"We are delighted to have closed our series A funding round with support from such prominent names in the investment world. The home buying process has had little impact from technology and innovation, which has transformed our experiences in other areas of our life from shopping to food ordering. While home buying is naturally a more complex process, it can still be dramatically improved and optimised. Our e-Homebuying platform will make homebuying a simpler and more streamlined process for all parties involved, saving money and time."
