One Trading operates a regulated digital asset exchange that provides trading services for both retail and institutional clients, formerly known as Bitpanda Pro.
One Trading has raised €30m in a funding round led by Valar Ventures, with participation from MiddleGame Ventures, Speedinvest, Keyrock, and Wintermute Ventures. The capital supports the platform's separation from Bitpanda and its rebrand from Bitpanda Pro as it prepares to scale its operations. The company intends to use the funds to build out its infrastructure and pursue status as a MiFID Trading Venue. Led by former JP Morgan executive Josh Barraclough, the digital asset exchange aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance protections and crypto markets by introducing a membership model and enhanced regulatory compliance.
