OKKO Health has secured £900k in a funding round, which includes £145k from seven members of Henley Business Angels. The company has developed a digital application enabling patients to monitor eye health through gameplay between hospital appointments.
The capital will be directed towards expanding clinical trials, securing regulatory approval from the FDA, and initiating commercial sales. The raise follows a series of five grant awards from Innovate UK as the firm addresses growing strains on ophthalmology services.
