Nuon AI raises £300k in pre-seed funding from Haatch Ventures to scale its insurance pricing platform.
The Brighton-based insurtech secured its first external investment from Haatch Ventures to expand its artificial intelligence technology.
Nuon AI builds artificial intelligence software designed to optimise pricing and performance for insurers, brokers and managing general agents. Its technology integrates with existing systems to assist underwriting teams across the insurance lifecycle.
Nuon AI has secured £300k in a pre-seed funding round led by Haatch Ventures. The capital will support the company as it scales its operations and commercial strategy following the development of its insurance pricing platform.
The Brighton-based firm has spent the last ten months building artificial intelligence tools intended to enhance pricing performance for insurers, brokers and managing general agents. The technology operates alongside legacy infrastructure to provide live insights and augment underwriting teams.
Haatch Ventures is backing the business at the pre-seed stage, marking the company's first external institutional investment. The founding team brings prior industry experience, having previously built and exited digital insurance ventures.
From the founder
"We are known entities as a team, we were part of the founding team of INSHUR. I have been working behind the scenes on investment and go-to-market strategy since the start of the year. I have been impressed with the technical development and pleased to be bringing to market a genuine AI innovation. Not only does the product deliver profit and performance gains for the insurer, it delivers fair value for the end customer."
