Nu Quantum has raised $60m in a Series A funding round to advance its distributed quantum computing platform. The investment was led by National Grid Partners, with participation from Gresham House Ventures, Morpheus Ventures, and existing supporters Amadeus Capital, IQ Capital, Ahren Capital, and Sumitomo (Presidio Ventures).
The Cambridge-based startup is building networking architecture designed to link separate quantum processors together into a single, scalable system. The capital will be directed towards accelerating the development of its Entanglement Fabric roadmap, scaling prototype technology, and expanding industry alliances.
This transaction marks the largest Series A round recorded in the United Kingdom quantum sector to date, positioning the firm for commercial deployment.
