Noggin HQ raises £710k in pre-seed funding from Oxford Capital and others to launch its credit comparison platform.

Oxford Capital led the pre-seed round to help the startup launch its first product.
Noggin HQ provides financial technology services designed to improve credit access for underserved populations in the UK. The firm builds comparison platforms that connect consumers with fair credit products.
Noggin HQ has secured £710k in pre-seed funding to accelerate the launch of its initial price comparison platform. Oxford Capital led the round, with participation from Bethnal Green Ventures, SyndicateRoom, and select angel investors.
The Newcastle-based startup focuses on addressing financial exclusion for individuals who struggle with traditional credit scoring, including young people, renters, and recent immigrants. The fresh capital follows the company's recent acquisition of FCA authorisation late last year.
Founders Evangeline Atkinson and Laura Mills relocated the business to the North East to support regional employment while expanding access to transparent financial products. The company aims to make credit referencing fairer and more inclusive.
